Vera worked as a restoration specialist and geologist for the National Park Service and as a Watershed Researcher with Trout Unlimited. During her three-year tenure with the Colorado Mountain Club, she doubled the staff in the department, created a West Slope Field Office in Grand Junction, and developed the Responsible Recreation Campaign. Her expertise is in environmental science, geology and land resources.
Vera now works for The Wilderness Society as the Director and Strategic Policy Guidance for their Recreation Planning Program.
Nada Culver, Vice President

Nada is Senior Counsel for the Public Lands Campaign at The Wilderness Society, providing technical advice and support to citizens and conservation groups working to protect their public lands. Prior to that, she worked in the private sector for more than 10 years, gaining experience working on a variety of environmental issues including energy development, environmental remediation, and nuclear energy. Working on management of public lands and traveling throughout the West has made Nada increasingly aware of the need to keep the West livable for wildlife, too.
Willie Gibson

Willie Gibson has been shooting throughout the US, Mexico, South America and Europe for over 30 years. He has established a reputation as a respected and recognized talent in architectural photography, and has created beautiful images for residential homebuilders, architects and designers, resorts and golf courses. Willie's images have won dozens of awards for major homebuilders across the country. Many of Willie's resort and lifestyle images have appeared in travel and leisure publications.
Scott Schlosser

Scott is a managing broker and owner of a Vail Valley based real estate and development company. He has his B.S. in business management from Fitchburg State College in Massachusetts and studied international economics at the University of Seville, Spain post graduate. He and his wife Terresa are avid outdoor enthusiasts and spend many hours in the mountains hiking and biking. As a real estate developer and broker, Scott has strived for balanced growth and limited wildlife impact on all his development work. Working closely with wildlife specialists, Scott hopes to continue to lead through example by ensuring that all future developments in the Vail area conduct extensive research on the impact of expansion on wildlife habitat and migration patterns. Of particular concern Scott and Terresa hope to raise awareness and money for the construction and development of wildlife crossings along the I-70 corridor.
Trisha White
Defenders of Wildlife

Trisha White is the Director of Defenders of Wildlife's Habitat & Highways Campaign at their national headquarters in Washington, DC. The Habitat & Highways campaign seeks to reduce the impact of surface transportation infrastructure on wildlife and encourages state and local authorities to incorporate wildlife conservation into transportation and community planning. In partnership with Surface Transportation Policy Project (STPP), Trisha released a report, Second Nature: Improving Transportation Without Putting Nature Second which has since been awarded the 2004 NRCA Award of Achievement for best publication.

Ronni Egan
Great Old Broads for Wilderness

Ronni has been a Great Old Broad for 15 years, and was a Board member for 2 years until taking over as Executive Director in 2002. She attended Michigan State University, studying art, animal husbandry, and philosophy. She has been a guide and outfitter both on her family?s guest ranch outside of Santa Fe, NM, and for Colorado Outward Bound and Pack Creek Ranch in Moab, UT. She has been a staff member for the Santa Fe Mountain Center, an experiential education program, and has served on the Boards of the Backcountry Horsemen of New Mexico, Rio Arriba County Fair, Espanola Animal Shelter and Life Education Network of the Southwest. Ronni has worked for years in environmental advocacy, volunteering for the New Mexico Sierra Club, the Central Clearing House in Santa Fe, and the Santa Fe Trails Coalition. She has participated in grazing education workshops and lobbied with the National Public Lands Grazing Campaign for the voluntary buyout of allotments and for better management of grazing in the West.
Sinjin Eberle

Sinjin has been a lifetime outdoor enthusiast and active environmentalist for years. He holds a Bachelor's of Environmental Science degree and has been on the board of Colorado Trout Unlimited for the last 4 years. Sinjin participates in a wide variety of outdoor activities, from mountain biking and hiking, to whitewater rafting, and fly-fishing. His ideal vacation is to backpack into the Colorado High Country with his wife Jill and a fly rod. His work with Lynx Research Consulting, a Boise-based marketing research firm, focuses on custom research and marketing, especially in the areas of sports marketing and consumer products and services. He also is an avid coffee fan, and started his own coffee roasting business, Copper Door Coffee Roasters, in early 2007.
